Happy Ending to an uncomfortable situation

Supervised Family Contact can sound very scary and also seem to be in place for families that have dome something terribly wrong. Which is far from the truth. Family contact is generally put in place when a parent or Family member isn’t allowed full access to the children or child without having it supervised, this happens when the children or child is placed in care and has been removed from the Family home. Sadly, this does happen and it is normally because something has broken down and help and guidance is needed. Over the last 9 months I have been working with a client and have been doing regular contacts with this family within Kent. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching the child grow and really shine through the hardest time of her short life. I’ve really seen her develop, grow and learn so much in a such amount of time. Family Contacts can be somewhat hard, sad and uncomfortable however the case I’m working with at the moment is by far from that. It’s rewarding and it’s lovely to see the parent really engaging with his child. Family Contacts have really brought a lot of different experiences and knowledge to my career and I am keen to see where this particular family end up.
