March has been what I call uncomfortable but not In a bad way. In a way that it has brought of a lot of new ideas and given me structure for what I want to gain from my new adventure.
Since opening and launching my business I always tried to stay in my own lane and keep pushing forward and making sure, I had good contents before posting and also trying to get the word out there about my services.
I started posting a lot more on social media and trying to find my audience and the best time to post. And posting things that were interesting, true to my brand and what I believe in.
I have been fortunate enough that people have got in touch, I have had phone calls, messages and emails and awaiting answers from local authorities. I have been open, honest and made sure communicate is key 🔑.
However, there are many highs and many lows in business. I’ve had the opportunity to go and price up a Dental practice however they didn’t want to pay my price. Which happens, however I’ve learnt never sell yourself short and never lower the bar to fit into people’s brackets.
Last night I attended my first business meet and my first time networking with people, I have really taken away so much and it was so nice to see there is help out there but also find out peoples stories. Why they started, their highs and lows and how they overcome that.

What I got from the event was you aren’t ever too old to start again, you aren’t ever too late and no dream is ever too big or too small. Whatever you put in will determine where you end up. Success, determination is key 🔑.
I’ve had a whirlwind of opportunities in March. I’ve even had my website go live from the help and support from Emma. Elm consultancy- completely blow away and totally grateful 🙏
Emma has been personalable throughout my website journey and has been helpful and really taken my ideas 💡. I am extremely thankful I have Emma on this journey and I can’t wait to see where I end up.
Over the next few weeks I have more events to attend and a chance to network more. Something I’m not that comfortable with as such. Trying to sell myself! However you need to get used to being uncomfortable in business!
I’ve learnt a lot from the month of March, sometimes your feet need to touch the ground, note writing is key, you need a plan, a focus and how you can get where you need to be. Reset is always needed and every successful business takes time.
